“The Mast” was the first musical release for MARKER, an experimental band COMPRISED OF JEFF KLARIN AND CHRIS BAUGH. In the spirit of this exploratory, improvised piece of music, the visuals were meant to capture the sense of mystery and the unknown inherent in improvised music. Themes of the ocean and the uncanny GUIDED Bughouse to the elemental ‘egg’, an encrusted sepulcher discovered washed ashore with the accretions, carbuncles repREsented the unconscious creations that were “The Mast”.
