FAQ

  • A gallery wrap is an archival canvas digital print stretched around a wood frame.

  • An edition is a limited run of a particular piece of artwork. Artists and their publishers and/or dealers agree to, set and honor edition sizes. Once an edition is closed, it's closed forever.

  • All prints are signed and numbered unless otherwise described.  An open edition print is not numbered.

  • All of our giclee prints are printed on 100% cotton rag paper using archival pigmented inks.  They have a matte finish. The stated dimensions in the print descriptions are referring to the paper size only.  In many cases, the image on the paper may vary in ratio as we do not resize or crop the image to fit the overall print size.  We allow enough white border for framing, which will be at least .5 - 1.0 inch.

  • With advance notice and a scheduled appointment, you are more than welcome to pickup your artwork in person. Please send an email to info@bughouse.com if you'd like pickup your pieces in person or to peruse other work.  Or text/call 323-640-0234.

  • How do you ship your artwork?

    Our smaller prints, up to 11"x14" in size, are placed in plastic sleeves and shipped in cardboard envelopes. Prints larger than 11"x14" are placed in plastic sleeves and shipped rolled in cardboard tubes.  If you would like your larger prints shipped flat, additional handling fees may apply.  Gallery wrapped canvases, framed art, and larger art pieces are hand-packed by our professional shipper.

    We ship to the USA and Canada. We also ship internationally with prior consultation.  For international shipping inquiries, please contact us at info@bughouse.com.

    Please note on international orders, some countries charge duties and customs import fees.  All international orders are subject to additional customs and duties fees, and these fees are the responsibility of the customer.

    Where is my order?

    Orders generally ship within 10-14 days.  If we are out of town, materials are out of stock, or Los Angeles has experience the big one, shipments can take up to 3 weeks. We primarily use Federal Express and USPS Priority Mail for Domestic shipments, and Airmail for International shipments.  If you have a question about the shipment of your order please contact us at info@bughouse.com.

  • We handle every return inquiry on a case-by-case basis.  Most items purchased through our online store can be returned in their original condition within 14 days of receipt for an exchange or refund.  If you are not satisfied, please send the item(s) with a copy of your invoice and a note explaining your return. Please email us at info@bughouse.com for the address to send your return/exchange to.

    Sender is responsible for return postage for orders returned in their original condition. We suggest you use priority mail or a carrier that generates tracking numbers, as we will not be responsible for lost packages.  Please allow 2-3 weeks for receipt and processing of your return.

    We can’t guarantee returns/exchanges for limited edition merchandise. Replacement of limited edition merchandise damaged in the mail is subject to confirmation by the shipper. Please be sure to keep the original packaging and send us a photo of the damage. Please refer to Limited Editions Returns for more information.

    Limited Editions Returns

    All products that are Limited Editions are identified on the product detail page. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase of a Limited Edition piece, you may return it within 14 days of receipt and receive a free replacement or a full refund for the price of the product. Shipping charges will not be refunded, and return shipment costs are the responsibility of the customer.

    If you do decide to return your Limited Edition piece, please follow these instructions:

    • Email info@bughouse.com with your order number and specific reason for the return.

    • Bughouse will get back to you with a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA#), and a prepaid return shipping label. The cost of the shipping label will be deducted for your refund amount.

    • Please print out the below Return Authorization form, fill it out, including your RMA# and enclose in the return shipment of the artwork.

    • Pack the artwork back in the original tube or box with the Return Authorization form as well as all of the packaging materials and certificate of authenticity that was included in the package. No return will be accepted without the proper paperwork and the works need to be returned in perfect condition in their original packaging to qualify for returns.

  • In the unfortunate event that your order arrives in less than satisfactory condition, simply take one digital photo of the item and one of the shipping container it arrived in, then attach the photos to an email and send to info@bughouse.com.  A Bughouse representative will get back to you in 2 business days on how to proceed with your order.

  • Many of the images you see on our website can be modified to a custom configuration or reproduced on a multitude of substrates.  Please contact us, we're happy to discuss all of your options.

  • Privacy Policy

    We will not share our data with anyone. Period. All data collected from Bughouse.com is used for internal purposes only.

    Electronic Communications

    When you visit Bughouse.com or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on this site. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
